Hi everyone, I hope you are having a fantastic week! I am getting so excited my birthday is in 3 days and I am super excited! On my birthday my sister and brother in-law are coming over and we will have some of my favorite items to eat. It has always been a tradition with my family that we get to pick what we would like to eat on our birthdays, so I picked two of my favorites, hot dogs and sour cream pound cake!... Ok so anyway on to the card, I have been having a hard time trying to find time to film a video, I got back from our family trip about 2 weeks ago (I filmed a haul from your scrapbook store but have not found time to edit it) and then I got the new Legend of Zelda game (I am such a game nerd lol) so I have been playing that and I have also been trying to do my Christmas shopping so I have been pretty busy and also just haven't felt like making videos... but seeing as Christmas is my favorite time of year I knew I needed/wanted to make a few Christmas card videos, So here is the first...now I can't promise how many I'll do and some that I do make for family cannot be shown on here due to family members do read my blog (you know who you are lol) so I do hope to have more and will promise to try and get more up, until then however I hope you enjoy the video and as always Happy Crafting!

Episode 60 - Winter Card

Hello everybody, I hope you had a wonderful Saturday! Today I have a card with a winter theme to it. I used my new Halloween punches I bought at Michael's and change them to make it work for this theme. I will definitely be using these punches often :) It does take a while do to all the components to this card, but I think it is so worth it. I hope you enjoy the video and as always, Happy Crafting!

I wanted to share these pictures separately :) At the zoo there is a cage/house where you can walk in and there are parakeets in all colors. They are so amazing to watch fly and they will even come over and land on your arms, shoulders, head, etc. I had so much fun, I didn't want to leave :) Here are a few picture of them.

I also am going to have a separate video showing how to make a flower out of wired ribbon... due the the length of the tag video I decided to separate the two so be on the look out for that tomorrow or so... I am so use to doing cards, that this was such a nice change to me. I have also decided that this will be my last Halloween project for this year... Episode 58 - Witch Hat is Witch?

Hey everyone, I hope you are having a great week so far. I cannot believe it is already Thursday! Time really seems to be flying. My family and I our getting ready for our yearly TN trip, we leave next month! I can't believe it, already? I cannot wait to visit the "Your Scrapbook Super Center" clearance store, If you ever go to Sevierville, TN, you have got to check that store out! It has amazing deals and a great variety, Ok sorry I digress :)... Anyway for today's video I have another Halloween card! :) I used the Best Images of 2010 for my witches hat, you could also use the Happy Hauntings Cartridge which is one I am still looking to get, but for now I will use what I have :) . I used papers from three paper pads, I also used a few things that are not really Halloween oriented, but really worked well with this card :) I think it is a very simple card, but I like the simplicity of it :) Ok for the measurements:

Hey everyone, I hope you have been having an awesome week! :) I wanted to share a card I made, which was inspired by Amy, youtube name PrairiePaperandInk.

I have been enjoying her Halloween series and I love how she adds so many layers, pattern paper, the ribbon, buttons etc. So I came up with this card. I really like how it came out :) The pattern paper is DCWV Ghost and Goblins mat stack. The stamps are from inkadinkado and then I used a wide black ribbon and did a running stitch with orange thread and gathered it up to make the ruffles. I think it turn out pretty good seeing as it is a little out of my normal zone, but it is always fun to try new ideas :) Ok as always have a great day and Happy Crafting!!!

Sewing Project :)

Hi everybody, I hope you are having a great Saturday :) I wanted to share a project I made yesterday... I sewed a small bag, and for the first time I sewed in a zipper... Now I am NOT the greatest seamstress at all... but I was pretty proud of myself... I mean I guess it could have been worse :) I got the inspiration for this small bag from Lollyrot7 over on youtube. I bought the material from walmart at $2 a yard and I bought 1/2 a yard and there is enough material to make at least 3 bags... so with thread and zipper, this bag only cost me around $2.50... I would say not a bad deal... I am planning on using this bag for my camera and what not :) So as always Have a great day and Happy Crafting!

Hey everyone, I hope you had a great Labor Day :) Today I have a Halloween card up for you. I have seen so many great Halloween videos on youtube lately I couldn't wait to make a Halloween project myself :) I got the inspiration for this card from Dawn (dawn5377) she made a vertical panel card about 2 weeks or more ago, well I really loved it but I wanted to make it Horizontal... so after some messing around and measuring I figured out the cuts and scores :) I hope you enjoy the video, and if I made it confusing on any part please leave a comment or you can message me and I will do my best to explain it :)

If you are like me, on Amazon you love the free super saver shipping (spend $25) well I always seem to order something just under the limit so one day I did a search for Stampendous just to see what they had. I marked free shipping and lowest price and to my surprise they have some pretty good deals on there. I found quite a few stamps ranging anywhere from $1.50-$4.00 those are what I would consider a great deal!!! Hey everyone, I know it has a been a while since I have posted a video but on Saturday I received my new Cricut cartridge I got on Ebay (Seller Name - proudparents2005) I got it for a great deal! Normally the 3 Birds on Parade cartridge goes anywhere between $70 - $50... I got this cartridge for only $18!!! I was super excited and I just had to make a card with it and I really wanted to do a video as well. I filmed this on Saturday just as Hurricane Irene was going through, but thank the lord our power never fully went out... so here is the video I hope you enjoy and as always have a great day and Happy Crafting!

Hi everyone, I hope you had an awesome weekend... :) I made my card for Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge over the weekend and here is it :)

Sorry about the lighting, it makes it hard to see the sentiment. This weeks challenge was to use a retired cricut cartridge... well I looked at the link Emma provided and I didn't seem to own any of them :( so instead I tried to pick my oldest cartridge I did own which was the Hello Kitty Greetings. The pattern paper used was Colorbox - Bright Pack and We R Memory Keepers 4" x 6" albums made easy - Valentines. The Ribbon is from Hobby Lobby, the sentiment comes from the Stampin' Up - Picture This stamp set. I cut the main image out at 3 3/4", the sentiment is a EK Success Ticket Punch and a long oval from George and Basic shapes. Episode 54 - Shabby Chic Box

Hi everyone, I hope you are having a great Monday :) I have a new video up showing a box I decorated over the weekend... I am really happy with the way this box turned out! It is the first project like this I have ever attempted and I think I am addicted :) I started this box about 2 days ago and filmed most of the entire process, about an hour an a half. But when I went to edit the video my computer and camera could not read the file :( My dad seems to think my SD card had a corrupt file in it causing my camera to not be able to write the video properly so an hour an a half down the drain :( So I filmed the finished box and I tried to explain what I did :)

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a great day. I have a new video up today, a haul video. Today I went to Michael's and Big Lots and O.M.Gosh!!! Big Lots had so many items today it was really insane, I was really in a crafting coma lol, so many Stamps everywhere!!! I got 5 stamps and I was so wanting more lol, but I was trying to be good and not spend too much (oh but at $2 ea. why didn't I get more???). I also did not pick them up but I found out they also carry Bazzil Cardstock another thing I would have love to have, and only $5 for a big 12"x12" Pack!!! (what was I thinking???) Hi Everyone! Hope you had a wonderful Friday. I wanted to share some pictures with you of my custom stamp I got for all the back of all of my cards/projects. I ordered this stamp from Etsy. The sellers name is "MyCustomStamps"... The process was very easy and they were so nice to write and they made sure to get every detail correct. The stamp I purchased was only $6.95 and that is a deal, I was looking into it before and they ranged anywhere from $20-$30 from other websites. The shipping was fast and I am very pleased with this stamp! I wanted to share with all of you who may be looking to buy a custom stamp or maybe never thought of it before :)

Non-Crafty Update

Not to sadden anyone but I wanted to share with you about my week. My sisters cat had to be put to sleep Thursday... It was a sad day for all of us. Late Saturday Night he had started acting funny and just seemed very tired and listless. My sister and I took him to the vet on Monday and was told he had a blockage in his bladder, after three days they decided the best thing to do was to put him to sleep. You know the saying "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade" well sometimes there just isn't enough sugar to make it go down easy. He was a well loved cat and will be missed.

Another Throwback Challenge Entry :)

Hey everyone Hope you all have had a great weekend as we wind down on this Sunday, I was busy crafting and baking cookies today :) I made my card for the Challenge over on Emma's Site. The theme this week was "Cricut Less". I thought I was going to have a hard time doing this, but I really like the way the card turned out :) I used my Martha Stewart corner punch and Fiskars edge punch to do the edges. The next layer came from the Cosmo Cricket 6"x6" Paper stack "Earth Love" to get the edges rounded I wanted a deeper curve so I punched out a 1" circle and lined the edges up to the corners traced the circle and cut off the corner. The circle is a nestabilities die and the stamps come from Hampton Arts - Owls. I really loved the owl and I wanted to make it look like they were looking at each other, so I took a big plain stamp, a pine tree but it could be anything. I inked the owl stamp and then stamped it on to the tree, I then stamped it on my paper so I would get a reverse image. To finish off I punched out some scalloped hearts and decorated them with a white gel pen.

For the inside I stamped the owl again and stamped I Do, That's Woo! I really love the color and the over all design of how this turned out :)

Episode 50 - "Cupcake Anya" Card

Hey everyone I have a new video up, I had already cut all of my paper and punched my edges and basically had the card almost together when I decided to turn on my camera, so this is not the whole video and I sped it up as well. I used my newest Greeting Farm Digi Stamp "Cupcake Anya" she is such a cute digi. I decides it would be perfect for my sister as a birthday card... as I have mentioned before my sisters birthday is in October and I am trying to get ahead on all of my cards for the year. So that is why in the video you will see I am using Halloween paper for this card, my sister loves Halloween so this was perfect for her. The oval is a nestibilites die that I attached some blue lace to and cut out using my cuttlebug. Ok enjoy the video have a great Friday and as always Happy Crafting.

Distress Ink Holder :)

Hey everyone! Today I wanted to share with you my new holder for my Tim Holtz Distress Inks, I have really been looking for some kind or storage for them and I think I have finally hit on something I like. I went to Target and saw these dvd holders...

as you can see they are called Media Stix, I got mine for $11.99 and it is suppose to hold 60 CD/DVD's. Well I bought them, came home and it was missing by just about 1/8" so I was trying my best to figure it out and realized if you turn the stix upside down they fit perfectly, with the ink in upside as I have been told is the best way to store your inks. SO here is the finished look...

I attached them to my storage cabinet right beside my craft desk, I typed up all of the names of the colors I own and used my sticker maker to adhere the labels to the ink. I really love the way this turned out, it is just so convenient to have them there right in arms reach. Well I hope this has helped inspire some of you :) Have a great day and Happy Crafting!

Yea I finally filmed a tutorial, this is my frist tutorial in about 1-2 months... I really didn't think I would even get this video up, I had been messing around with the settings on my camera and changed it so everytime I filmed a video it would not work, but thankfully after remessing the third time was a charm :) Ok here is the video... enjoy!

Throwback Thursday Challenge Entry

Ok so here is my entry into Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge :)

Ok so the requirements for this challenge was to use a Cricut Lite cartridge and Bling... The only 2 lite cartridges I own are the Hoot 'n' Holler and the Jolly Holidays, I decided I kinda wanted to go outside the box so I decided to use the Jolly Holidays cart... I cut out the little penguin at 2.75" and stamped his face with Peachy Keen Stamps (PK-494), to get his eyes farther apart I taped over one of the eyes inked it up and then removed the tape, I then cleaned the stamp and repeated it for the other side. The card shape came from, Once Upon a Princess cart and I just cut it at 4" then I cut out the rounded rectangle. I then used George and Basic Shapes for the circle and that was cut out at... I think it was 2.5", to finish up I did some faux stitches with my white gel pen and added some really cute star bling I got at Christmas. I really like how I used Christmas bling and a Christmas cartridge, but you would never say this is a Christmas card. I love they way it turned out :) Ok as always Have a great day and Happy Crafting! :)

Wow it has been forever!

Hey all it seems like it has been forever since I have done any posts and or videos. I am still here and I still want to keep this blog going. I have just been so busy lately... My computer's graphics card went on the fritz so I was without a computer for a week or so... I am also trying to clear up a allergy on my arm and didn't really want to be filming videos with that :) That started in March and has only gotten worse, but I have some creams and meds. to get that in order, I really just wanted to do a post and let you know I am still here and will be making videos in the, hopefully near future. :) Happy crafting!!!

Hi all I know it has been a while since I did any kind of updates or craft videos but I am finally over a two week long cold and was just not really able or in the mood to do videos and update. But I am happy to say I am well again and am going to be back on track soon. I am in the process of recording some videos and will have them posted in the near future. For now though, I thought I would share a technique I saw. You all know how expensive Copic markers can be, well I was on Youtube and stumbled over this awesome tutorial by Sillyshysushi, No Copics, No Problem. You really should check out this tutorial, after watching the videos, she has it broken up into 3 parts. I went to Micahel's and picked up the "Mona Lisa" odorless paint thinner. Here is a picture of the bottle:

Now this bottle was only $4.99 and I had a 40% coupon so I got it for $3.14 and it is a nice size bottle and should last quite sometime. In the tutorial sillyshysushi used "Gamsol" I looked it up on Amazon and price wise it was not really expensive but what was costly was the shipping so I opted for the cheaper alternative and it works fine for me :) I then went onto The Greeting Farm website and bought my very first Digi stamps they were only $3 ea. and so stinkin cute! I got Chibi Spain and Chibi Lolli. I cannot wait to buy some more, I had so much fun coloring in the chibi spain image. Here is the card I made using the technique and Chibi Spain,

I personally love how this turned out for my first try at this coloring, I tried to do the shading in her hair and on her dress and I think it turned out pretty good :) Well like I said you have got to check out Sillyshysushi's videos and definitely give this a try. Hey all so I wanted to share with you this insane recipe I found on Hungry Girl's website :) I was cruising the site and stumbled upon the post "You Say Potato..." and my interest was peeked, I started to read and was amazed and a little grossed out at the same time, it was a recipe for kale chips YES! Kale Chips! Ok now I love my greens and all but come on that just seems a little far fetched to me ?:) But hey I will never shun a green so I went to Walmart picked up a bunch of kale, came home washed it thoroughly and I mean thoroughly you can feel sand and dirt on it, gross! Dried it with a paper towel, I really didn't get it dry enough, I am thinking next time I will wash it earlier and cook it later. Placed it on a baking sheet, sprayed the kale lightly with olive oil cooking spray, sprinkled with salt and cooked for 10 min. at 350... Well I was nervous to say the least but I took my first bite and I am in love! These are so good and really weird at the same time they are crispy and in a way remind me of popcorn, Green popcorn anyone! lol You have got to give this a try, now I will forewarn you if you do not like greens you may just want to leave this recipe alone, like my dad did :) or if you like your greens like my mom and I, you will definitely want to give this a try, So healthy, full of vitamins and just Tasty! Ok so this is just a quick update, I am going to be trying to keep my blog more up to date by posting at least one post a day (fingers crossed) I have a lot of cards and crafts I make but I don't always feel like filming, so I want to start posting more pictures and maybe written tutorials.. but I will of course still have more videos coming :) I also want to hold another contest and would also like to do some kinda of blog hop but that will have to be in the future for now... Hi all, I hope you have been having an awesome day! I have the new video up for you and I am really loving the colors and just the whole way this card turned out :) I am loving the new paper pad I got buy K&company "Hopscotch" I love all of the colors and cannot wait to start making Easter cards with it :) OK here are the measurements for the card,

Hey everyone, I am so bad about keeping my blog updated :( But I am going to try my best to work on it :) So last week my mom and I went to Ben Franklin's, it has never really been one of my favorite stores, but I have also never turned down a trip to a craft store before :) lol. I found a couple of $1 stamps and a few other things. I only spent around $8 on everything and I got some jewelry too! Then on Monday my Scrapbuck order came! I was so excited, I got some stamps I had been wanting for a while and a few new ones for Easter. I am thinking the Easter stamps will be a lot of fun to color in and paper piece together, I have started my next saving fund for Copic markers so I am going to try and start to slow down on the craft buying lol (Yeah Right?) I know I can but I already broke my promise and went shopping at Micahel's today (Oh well!) Ok so that is some of the stuff I have been buying lately. New Video Episode 45 - Kool-aid Roses

Hey everyone, I hope you all had a great weekend! I have a new video for you. I went to a local Chinese resturant and I saw these beautiful roses made out of nylon. They were so pretty and I started thinking, I think I can make something similar... So I went to walmart and bought some white knee-highs and some kool-aid in differnt flavors. I then started to experiment and here is what I came up with :)

I really like how these turned out and in all each one cost about $.25 or less

Hose - $.33 should be enough to do about 6 flowers

Kool-aid - $.20 1 pack enough to dye 6 flowers

Wire 20 gauge - $1.97 - enough to make about 20 flowers, depending on the size you make them

Green wire stems - $1.00 for 15

Floral Tape - $.97 enough for about 20 flowers

They look very close to the one's I saw and I love how they smell like the kool-aid you use. Ok here are the video's. I had to break it up into two parts but they are very easy to make. I hope you enjoy. Have a great day and Happy Crafting!

Hey everyone, I hope you had and awesome Christmas/Holiday :) I know I said I was going to do a video about 3 weeks ago but Christmas just caught up with me and I ran out of time :) and I have also been hanging out with my family spending time and Christmas money together :), but I got a chance to film a video tonight :) I am going to be getting back into the swing of things now, I still haven't gotten all of my Christmas gifts put away yet but I am in the process lol :) I got some Cricut Cartridges and some other awesome things so I might do a video showing you some of the gifts I received :) Ok for today's video it is the Scrunched Flowers, so simple and very realistic in my opinion. I love to make them!

Here I used Worn Lipstick and Scattered Straw, two awesome distress ink colors :) but of course any color would do. I also thought glimmer misting them would be nice as well. It feels so nice to buy presents :) I also couldn't resist I bought my self the new Epic Mickey game for wii. Hey everyone :) Today's project is a very simple gift bag, I really love the way this project turned out. I think this would be a perfect thing for all smaller gifts. The completed bag is 5" x 4" perfect size for almost anything :) Although I decided to stamp mine you could add pattern paper or embellishments, etc. anyway you want to decorate it. Hey everyone :) For today's video I wanted to do a non-traditional color card. I started making the card and looked up at my camera and noticed it had died on me :( I hate it when that happens. But I wasn't too far in to making it to have to restart it, but then I kinda felt like I was so I just went ahead and started where I was... so it is not one of the best videos but you will get the idea I was going for :) Tomorrows video will be better I promise :) Ok here are the measurements for today's card -

Hi everyone and welcome to the third day of Christmas :) Today I have very easy bookmarks. I found the cut on the Black letter cartridge and thought it looked like a bookmark, so needless to say that is what I turned it into :) The animals came from Create a Critter. Here are the measurements -

Poster Board - 3" - I used my gypsy, I put the lock on, width to 3" so it makes it 3" x 0.84"

Christmas series update :)

Well after some thinking and figuring. I have decided I am going to do a 12 day Christmas series, starting on Monday Nov. 22, until Dec. 3, I will have a video everyday. I thought about just doing cards but then changed my mind. I am planning on doing cards for the first 3 or 4 days and then moving into gift giving, i.e. Gift card holders, bags, gifts, etc. Then to finish it off as a early Christmas present from me to you, I will be having a small giveaway! Staying Crafty Entry :)

Hey everyone, you might have noticed oven on Amber's blog (Staying Crafty) she is having a contest :) All you have to do is make something for gift giving to make the gift look more special. So here is what I came up with :)
Just 4 simple tags, I used a sheet of acetate and cut it out using my Sizzix tag die. I then stamped the images on using StazOn. To color them in I flipped them over and colored them in with Sharpie markers, please note if you do this make sure you FLIP them over or it will just rub off the ink on the front. To finish off I stamped to and from, added a eyelet to the top and some glittery red string. I really love how they turned out! The picture really isn't that good they look better in person :) I plan on making more for all of my gifts :) Ok I am going to be working on a video that will probably be posted some time tomorrow or Tuesday so be looking for that. It was so ridiculously cold, in the time frame of 3 hours we got to see it rain, sleet and snow! Wow! I had a great time on my trip to Pigeon Forge, but I am so HAPPY to be home!!!! We didn't get back until around 11pm and it seemed like FOREVER to get here lol. Nothing feels better than your own home, that's for sure! While I was there, I went to a place called "Your Scrapbook Store" and it was a pretty neat store. They have their main store and then they have a clearance center. I am going to do a video later showing you what all I found. It was an awesome place. I spent way more than I should of but, it was a trip right? lol I was going to do a video in TN but I was just to worn out we didn't stop until around 3am and had to get up at 7am so needless to say... :) I do have a couple of videos to share with you of the Ripley Believe it or Not Aquarium and of Dollywood. If you ever go to TN you have got to go to these two places! The Aquarium had penguins this year. Hey everyone, I hope your week has started out great :) I have a new video up today. I am a little disappointed in it. I some how deleted the ending of the card? :( I was almost to the end so it was not a complete loss, but... I also had to do some creative trimming to fit it in the 15 min time limit. Other then that it is a pretty neat card. I got the idea for the Christmas tree from the Paper Crafts Nov/Dec 2010 Magazine. I hope you enjoy. I am going to try and get one more video filmed this week before I go on my trip :) I can not wait to go! I am definitely going to be posting pictures and some video as well from all of my fun :) I want to make a card using the new smiley cartridge I got in the Gypsy update today! I was so excited to hear about the six free cartridges :) If you have not heard it is for registered gypsy owners only, they have switched from gypsysync to cricutsync and when you update you get six free cartridges! Hi all so I saw that Drew was having a challenge over on his blog for a Christmas card using thin layers. Well you know I have been into Christmas cards lately so I had to enter his challenge. Here is the card I made...
I love the colors! I used the Cosmo Cricket 8" x 8" Wonderland Pad, It has some really awesome muted colors for Christmas. I then used the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge for the two reindeer's. The eyes are from Peachy Keen Stamps. Very simple card, but I like the way it turned out :) Ok well have a great rest of the weekend and Happy Crafting!

Episode 38 - Glitter Christmas

Hello everyone! :) Ok so I didn't get a chance to upload my video yesterday as I had stated. I went to Target and bought the new DS game Crafting Mama, I am such a game geek lol :) So I got wrapped up in playing that and totally forgot about the video. I filmed it tonight so I finally have it up now. I tried a new technique, I learned in the Paper Crafts magazine Nov/Dec 2010 issue. You make glitter borders with double sided tape, not that this is really a new technique. I just loved the look of it. I decided to make a Christmas card, because for some reason I have really gotten into a major Christmas mood. Maybe it had something to do with seeing all the cool new Christmas stuff at Walmart lol :) Well anyway here are the measurements for today's card...

Papercraft Star Challenge 18 ~ Entry :)

Hi all I hope you are having a awesome week so far, it feels like it is just moving right along :) Here is the card I made for the Papercraft Star Challenge 18. The theme is Thank you, with a few requirements: i.e Thank you project, Dry Embossing, Cricut cut or Die cut, also has to have metal. So for my card I did a "Thanks Sew Much!"

I used patterned paper from the K&Company Day Dreams pad. I then cut out the letter I from the Cindy Loo cartridge and added string around it to make it look like spools of thread. To bring in the metal element, I added wire shaped like a needle and added a little bow to it. I almost forgot the dry embossing so I added a strip of light blue cardstock to the bottom and embossed it with the, cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder. I also cut out the little tag for the saying in the same blue and embossed it as well :) I was so happy with the way it turned out :) If you really like this card please vote for it :) Voting starts in 2 days and if I figured it right it will be on Saturday. New video :) Episode 35 - Turkey Anyone?

Hey all, I used my new camera tonight and it turned out great! I am going to have to figure out a few new things, but I think it is a awesome camera! :) Ok now on to the card I made.

I think this card turned out very cute, if I do say so myself :) For the measurements I used my Gypsy to design everything:

Red Base - Scallop Tag from Gypsy Wanderings: 8" x 5.55"
Brown layer - 5" x 3.5"
Orange layer - 4.75" x 3.25"
Turkey - create a critter cartridge: all layers are cut at 2.56" h
Tree limb - wild card cartridge: 2.20" w x 2.63" h
Tag - george and basic shapes: .93" w x 2" h

My Camera is Here!! :)

I am so excited my new camera came today! :) I can't wait to give it a try :) I had planned on doing a video tonight but it got too late and I was too worn out to film a video... I spent the day out at my Grandparents cleaning to earn some trip money :) I will definitely be making a video tomorrow, Tuesday... I am thinking about trying to do videos on Tuesdays and Fridays... Tuesday would be Tune in Tuesday and Fridays would be TGIF! Thank goodness it's Friday!. I would add extra videos in when every, but I would like to try to at least do two videos a week, so be looking for that soon. I have decided I am out of the Halloween mood, because it is getting so close so I am moving on to Autumn/Fall/Thanksgiving cards :) Those would be more my style anyway lol :) Ok well I am definitely going to be a video tomorrow and as always. Camera Update! :)

I just wanted to keep you up to date. I have been looking at different camera's trying to find something, I liked as well as thought would be good. Well the search is over and I have a new camera on its way YEAH!!! I can not wait to get it, and as soon as I do I will definitely be making more videos :) SO be looking for some videos soon. I am hoping to get in at least one more Halloween card/project. Then on to Thanksgiving and my personal favorite Christmas! I have some pretty good ideas so I can't wait to get started. Papercraft Star Challenge 17 Entry :)

Here is the card I made for the challenge on Papercraft Star. The theme is from a Martha Stewart picture. I used the orange, yellow, black and white colors, in the card and the background. I cut out the little candy corns with a pair of scissors and stamped their little faces using Peachy Keen Stamps. Using a scallop circle punch, I punched one of the corners of the candy corn to make it look like someone had taken a bite. lol. I also added a spider web to kinda go with the spider, and did black and white ribbon to do the stripes. The white background piece I ran through my cuttlebug using the polka dot embossing folder. I then used sharpie markers to color in some of the dots. Then I used my gypsy to weld together the word "boo" and printed out on my computer the saying "You Monster!!!" lol. To finish it off I used stickles to add glitter to the little spider web and white gel pen to the eyes. I really love how it turned out :) Have a great day and Happy Crafting!

MPS Challenge Entry :)

Here is a quick card I made for Robyn's Challenge. I used Stampin' Up cardstock and patterned paper. I cut the seal using the Create a Critter, at 3". I used Peachy Keen Stamps for the face and finished of with a few stickles and a black gem for her nose. Turned out pretty cute, don't ya think? lol :) Ok well as always Have a great day and Happy Crafting!

Digital Camera Fail :(

Ok so tonight I sat down and filmed a video, with my digital camera. Well when I was done, I hooked it up and went to edit the video, not only was there no sound the video was awful. SO sorry there will be no videos until I get my new camera. I did find one, I like the looks of. So there will be videos again, I promise! Ok so I didn't have a video but I do have a picture of the finished project :)
I made Halloween treat bags for my little cousins. I used the Create a Critter pumpkin. I used my Gypsy to weld the blackout pumpkins together and cut that in black, for the size I think it was about 4" high. I then cut out the little pumpkin on the regular cut and then layer two, the little face. I cut the stem from the green layer and just glued it to the top of the pumpkin face. I then did some doodling and highlights. To finish I took a cello bag and filled it with some goodies and then placed it between the "card" and stapled it together. I glued on the pumpkin face to cover the staples and finished off with "Too Cute To Spook". I think it turned out awesome and I can not wait to see what my little cousins think :) Have a great day and Happy Crafting!

Two new cards :)

Hi all I hope you had an awesome weekend. I am still camera less but I am going to try to do a video tomorrow using my digital camera. I am doing some research right now for possibilities. Thank you everyone for emailing me back to my question of which camera you use :) Ok so on to my new cards. The first up is a card I made for my little cousin, she will be turning 7 this December so I thought I would go ahead and have it ready for her. I found this awesome blog. I think it might be in Norwegian? but she has the cutest free digi stamps. The blog is Bodil's Scrappeverde, When I saw the digis they reminded me so much of my cousins :) So here is the card...
I wanted to keep it very simple because I know she is just going to throw it to the side and head to the presents lol :) but I also wanted to keep it very girly. I also had to include her favorite color, purple. I colored her in Crayola markers. I think it turned out kinda cute. Ok now on to the next card.

I got the image from the same blog (link above) and I thought it screamed Halloween. I colored her with Crayola markers as well and I think it turned out great! If I do say so my self :) I cut the tree the same way as my Challenge entry at 5.5" in fact this is the design that inspired my entry. I also cut the witch hat, vultures, and tombstones from Paper Doll Dress Up. I embossed the red card stock with D'vine Swirls. MPS Saturday Challenge Entry :)

Well I am a little behind, but here is the card I made for Robyn's Saturday Challenge, it is a winter theme this time around :). I decided to do owls, my favorite! The card measures 5" x 7", the tree is from Paper Doll Dress Up and is cut at 5.5", I randomly added Saukra star dust gel pen to the edges of the tree, to resemble ice. The owls are cut in random sizes all only about 1/8" from each other. I also cut the little hats and scarfs from paper doll dress up as well. I then used my computer to print out the saying "Whooo... It's Cold Outside". To finish up I added glitter paper to the bottom with a scallop edge and white gel pen to the paper to make it look like it is snowing. I really like how it turned out! Hope you enjoy it as well :)

Throwback Thursday Challenge - My entry :)

Hello everyone I hope you have been having a great week :)... I have a card today I made for Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge, the challenge this week is to make a shaped card, include orange and use the create a critter cartridge... so here is the card I came up with...

I used the milk bottle, layer 1 for the base of the card... I then cut out the little flame, printed out the saying "I burn for you"... after I came up with the saying, I thought I wanted to make it look like the edges had been burned, so I used my Tim Holtz distress tool on the edge. Then I sponged the edges in brown and black ink. To finish it off. I did some faux white stitching and added stickles, in star dust. Really simple but I like how it turned out... I had every intention of filming a video on the process I did, but... My flip broke again last night :( so I am in the process of seeing how to get that fixed. It is doing the same thing it did last time... so I will probably be using my camera for now so we will see how that goes :) Ok well as always have a great day and Happy Crafting!

Papercaft Star" Challenge 16 - Entry

Ok so here is my entry into the Papercraft Star Challenge 16... I followed the sketch that was given and came up with a pretty simple Halloween card :) I used purple, green, orange and black/orange papers. I printed out a free digi stamp from Digital Doodling and used my sharpie markers to color her in. I then typed the saying "Stupid Mortals". I think it turned out pretty good. Episode 32 - Necklace Holder

Hi everyone, I hope you are having a great week, I am so glad it's Friday! I have a new video up for you... Do you ever find yourself looking for a necklace and it is tangled in a mess that seems impossible to ever get apart? well this is for you then, last night I was going through my jewelry and what not cleaning and trying to organize it, well my necklaces were killing me, so I decided I needed to come up with an idea for storing them, So I thought Chipboard! (I know kinda weird?) but it worked so well. I just had to share with you... Episode 31 - Haul Video

Ok so in my last post I mentioned the fact that these videos got reversed from the way I filmed them but no big deal :)... I ran to my local Michael's today to look for some stamps I saw on smscapper's video and I was able to find 1 of them along with 1 I had never seen and then I went to my other Michael's and was able to find the other stamp I wanted... Episode 30 - Mini Desk Notepad

Hi all here is a quick video for you... I made an Mini Desk Notepad, I have seen this idea before using I believe the 4" x 6" Photo Frame? but today at Walmart I found a 2.25" x 3.25" one and it was only $.50 so I had to get it and give it a try... It turned out great and I think would make awesome cheap homemade Christmas gifts :) Also just a note, I filmed a haul video and this tutorial in that order but when I was editing I reversed the order so... any who here is the video, I hope you enjoy and Happy Crafting! :)

Hi all hope you had a wonderful weekend :) I have just gotten over a cold myself so I hadn't felt like making videos or posting, but I am happy to say I am back :) Last night I was busy making ATC cards... I have become addicted to making them lol :)... I already posted a picture of the first 4 I made but I figured I would do a video and explain what I did on them :) I also made a couple of Halloween ones for a swap, I was suppose to make 1 and got so carried away I made 3 instead, but anyway lol... Episode 26 - Halloween Card 2

Hi everyone, so Halloween is more of my sisters holiday but I have fallen in love with my new monsters stamp set so I had to break it out again and make yet another Halloween card :)... Ok so the card is a standard A2 size... Here are the dimensions of the card stock I used

Black card stock 4"x5.25

Orange Polka Dot card stock 3.75"x5"

Small Black card stock 1"x1.75"

White card stock .75"x1.5"

I tried something new I got a new Cuttlebug Embossing folder in Polka Dot and I embossed the orange card stock and then everywhere there was a polka dot I put Glossy Accent, I will admit it took a while to add all of the dots, but the end result was well worth it :) I also used the Spellbinders Nestabilities in the "Circle" and the "Scallop Circle" I think it turned out pretty cute so now on to the video... Episode 25 - Halloween Card

Here's a quick Halloween card I made using my new stamps I got today :)... This little guy reminds me so much of the purple people eater :) I colored him in using my sharpie markers... the dimensions of the card are,

4.25" x 11" Black card stock scored at 5.50"
4" x 5.25" Purple patterned paper
3.75" x 5" Green glitter paper
2" x 3.75" Black card stock
3" x 4" Cream card stock

Also the punch I used can be found on EK Success website it is called "Scallop Diamond Punch"

Episode 24 - Michael's Haul

Ok it is official I am just going to stop saying I am saving for my trip. I have never seen so many deals before lol :) Well I went to my Michael's today and with a $40 budget I came out with $85 worth of stuff? How does it happen so fast? but I will say on a good note everything but one item, I got on sale so that is good and I only got stuff I needed/wanted :) So here is the video with everything I bought, oh but I didn't show it in the video I bought 6 spools of ribbon as well they were 3 for $1... I did also fully intend to buy my "Simply Charmed" Cricut Cartridge but they did not have it in stock at my Michael's (probable a good thing they didn't lol)

Ok so as I said in a previous post, here is how I store my cardstock to easily find what color I am looking for... Hope this helps some of you :) I personally have found it to be the best way for storing it, it makes it so compact and neat.

Episode 22 - Coupon Holder

Ok so I have a new video up for you... I made my mom a coupon holder to add some organization to her never ending coupons lol :)... I bought the chipboard from Joann's in the 4"x6" and the 8.5"x11"... the envelopes can be any size you want depending on what you plan to store in it, I didn't even think about it til I started filming the video. I am going to make another one and turn it into a mini album, I will definitely post pictures as soon as that is done and maybe a video of some of the process :) So anyway here is the video super, super simple.
